In September 2018, the Foundation successfully organized the 1st International Meeting on ZC4H2, a 2-day think-thank event, gathering the most relevant scientist and clinicians worldwide, who till date, had played a role in ZC4H2 research. The meeting had as aim to identify the knowledge gaps in ZC4H2 and to define the way ahead in research.   

The meeting was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, at the Al Jalila Children’s Hospital. The guidance and counsel of the Orphan Disease Center was key to realize this important meeting.    

Attendees included delegates from academic institutions from the USA, Germany, Korea, China, Belgium and the United Arab Emirates.
